Genji Dash Dmg
Posted By admin On 19/10/19This guide will cover how headshots work in Overwatch along with a chart showing you which hero abilities do headshots or not.
This is a quick and general guide to Genji. This build is an overall 'baseline' build meant to be useful against the majority of standard comps you can expect to play against. Obviously, there will be some niche talent choices vs certain characters and comps which I will touch on below, but this is a good starting point for playing Genji. It is illogical and unfair for a Li-Ming, Genji can do dash and then Q and reflect Li-ming is dead 100% of the time. AS A MAIN MING, who EVER does pick disintegrate ANYWAYS? I used to think that it’s a “go to” ult but then found out it was kinda weak, the MAX dmg u can do is 1.5k which isnt THAT much, considering her other ablillities. More so if the Genji burns his dash as a '3rd' jump or a 'blink' to position himself. But genji jumping around means he isn't doing half as much dmg as a tracer. Genji has a crappy left click attack when it involves movement, you have to look at this as well when comparing him to tracer.
- I’m aware Genji is a skilled hero, the better the player, the more impactful he’ll be. But I cannot help but feel, that with Moira, Brigitte, Zarya, Mei, Mccree, Pharah, Junkrat, Symmetra, and Roadhog, Genji feels a bit risky of a pick.
- Genji is very asymmetrical in scaling; It may be a nightmare to play against a snowballed Genji but a reversal in roles is just as terrifying for Genji. I get prayer beads around lvl 10-11 then either range or atk speed. Don't get dot, it sucks. Don't get heal, that meme isn't funny anymore and unless youre literally brand new to genji you know better (FYI brand new Genji players don't get heal on AA ty).

Headshots
Overwatch has headshots. Headshots do twice the damage as a normal shot. While playing you can tell if you did a headshot if your crosshair has red flairs coming from it, as shown below:
